You can do Info pass and ask for both. Alternatively, you can try calling USCIS when your priority date is current and ask for this information. If you are lucky, they will tell you whether or not there are any security checks are pending. People noted that there are no LUD when NC gets through. On the other hand, if one has a FP and a couple of days later there is a LUD on I485, that often means FP cleared. Remember that FP and NC are completely separate tasks.

Yes he can apply for a TN again, no limit on the number of times alien can enter on TN. If he leaves while his COS is pending it will be considered to be abandonment of the petition.

You are good till the end of your original H1 regardless of the outcome of the extension... the catch is, you have to maintain H1 status.. meaning get paid, no benching etc.,

Few SSA offices do allow to submit application for SSN few days before 10/01. But few of them donot allow and suggests to come on or after 10/01.
So just give a try. But request them if they were able to find your information in the system. Few offices, though they donot find in the system, they take the application but few of them say that they could not find the information in the system and will suggest to come back again.

When you reach NSC or TSC, you talk to an IO. Who really is an IO? Are they first line of customer service at the centers? They then send requests etc to officers handling your cases?

Since we're playing with Freddy's photo and my other option is work, I did some basic processing to bring out what's already there.
