Now the PERM takes 2years... whats the difference for new guys? My friend stuck in labour for almost 15 months now. got RFE, replied to it and stood stand still..
But this helps for someone who filed during July'07 fiasco and waiting though. I got mine approved in late feb'09 (filed in July 07).
Something is better than nothing.... :-)

We have asked for an amendment to allow applicants to file for I 485 even when the dates are not current so that EAD can also be filed (which gives portability).

But my company & their attorney are not sharing any details..
Left with no choice.. but to wait with hope..
Better to start new labor process if your are nearing 6th year on H1. these audits take forever and mostly have -ve results. and the employers/attorneys are not helpful either.

Did you apply for an H4 along with H1? You should ask this question to one of the attorneys, this is pretty complicated.

Your Employer letter should be sufficient to support your wife from your employer,u don't need any other stuff,you can also tell your attorney about the form I-134 for Affadavit for support thats all you need,everything should be ok,don't worry be happy.

My LC and I-140 was approved with my ex-employer in CA.Now I have a oppurtunity to join my ex-employer in the east coast. Will I be able to file AOS if I join in a similar role and when my PD becomes current ? The immigration lawyer of my ex-employer told me that I have to join in the same location as my LC was approved to take advantage of AOS as it is location specific. Is it true?

I have a question on the receipt number. If we get the receipt number, does it mean "The application is accepted" (All the supporting documentation and fee are coorect)?

I've had my D100 for about 3 years. I noticed that the frame buffer was getting lower and lower - and I thought it was just that my memory card was getting old... but I just bought a new one and that was not the problem.
I used to get 6 or 7 images in the buffer, and now it's just 2.
Is there a fix for this or does it need to be repaired?

I am a labour substitution case pd feb 2002 filed 140 in June at NSC. My 140 has been pending for more than a year. Now recently I received 2 year ead.
Does this imply my 140 is approved too???
Is it safe to work on ead of one gets 2 year ead with pending 140.??

I do not understand why they grant EADs when your I-140 is not approved. The reason I bring this up is if a person loses his/her job and your I-140 is revoked, the EAD is useless. You cannot use AC21 for that because your I-140 is not approved.
Nebraska center is doing nothing regarding I-140 EB-3 (India) apps. The I-140 date at Nebraska has beeing moving by 1 day per month for the last 7-8 months. It is stuck at March 30th 2007. Moreover, the latest "as of" i.e. "report" date that you see on Nebraska is July 31st 2008. It is not current (Sept 2008) as many of you may think.
I understand that they receive 1000s of applications but that is no excuse for incompetence. As of July 31st, it was taking them 1 year and 4 months and now it is 1 year and 6 months to process I-140.
Why don't they re-institute expedited I-140 approval?

I have I-485 pending at NSC EB3 category with July 2007 filing date. My I-140 is approved. I am planing to quit my job and get a job in different job qualification.Hence cannot file AC21.
My wife got naturalized and after researching online, I made a decision to file new 485 with I-130,I-864 and I-131. My AP based on employment based 485 is expired and hence I applied for new I-131 through family based thus saving money.
I did not apply for I-765 (Family Based) as I had an active EAD untill 2012(Employment Based).
I am to quit my job and afraid that my I-140 (Approved Jan 2008) will be pulled and hence my I-485(Employment Based) will be denied/revoked. Since my active EAD is based on the employment based 485, it will be unusable/revoked as well.I do not want to invoke AC21. For this reason, I want to file EAD based on Family -I-485.
My question is :

I think the System.Windows.Forms is only for Windows Forms not Web Forms. You want something like
