Make it easy to clean, or I'm sticking with my Kensington Trackball. 10 years, the same design. And I can replace the white trackball with my favorite snooker ball.
I agree - nothing beats the Kensington. Between that and my Wacom tablet I'm set.

No it is not and I dare you to prove me wrong!
   How old are you?
The majority of the creative class uses pcs period. Software titles like Autocad, 3d Studio Max, Rhino etc. don’t even exist for the mac.
Not sure about 3d Studio or Rhino, but pretty sure Autocad is for engineers, not traditionally considered creative because engineering is bound by rules and laws of materials and physics, ( although some can be very original).

Yet that doesn't change the fact that the BSOD still exists in XP.
The code for kernel panics exists in MacOS too, from my experience sometimes the OS even croaks before it can even draw the cool graphical error screen out. At least Windows XP has a fully functional BSOD

I'm 99% certain iPhone 5 is announced at WWDC. Doesn't make sense to go further out, especially with Android bringing up the rear in a big hurry.
By bringing up the rear you mean leading the pack now in sells and innovation, hardware*(No one can argue that all of the android phones in the iPhone 4's category all have better specs.) all android needs is a little polishing on the UI. This Year the iPhone will be playing catch up. iOS also has to dish out the features that the customers want.
1. File system
2. More personalization
3. Widgets
4. Better notifications
5. Wifi tethering
6. the most important of them all it must have a picture of me on it.

I really hope that it comes tomorrow as my apple store credit card is on fire waiting to be spent. ;) however @dpdesilva on twitter is rumoring that apple will delay imac refresh due to leaks and rumors being overshadowed by Bin Laden's Death. Personally I think it might be B.S. I care more about my Imac than the story of his death.
If that is true then im going to buy Windows 7 and a PC and pretend I like it...

Who said we have to live til 105 years old?
Live, or merely exist?
I have met crazier "normal" people who weren't even on drugs!
I'm sorry, but I'm terrible with names.
Where was that again???

Almost as funny as your daughters face when she discovers that her dad is a brutal bigot who waits outside toilet doors to beat people up (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12453464&postcount=56).
Relax dude, your safe. You said that you used the mens room. What's wrong, did I actually guess your bra size?

Why amazon?
If I may, because Amazon sells 12 bags cheaper (per unit) than any other store. About once every 4-6 months I buy 12 bags of Haribo Gummi Bears for under $14.00. If you were to buy a 5 oz bag in store, you'd be paying at least $2.99, on a super good day. For me though, I need to put them away someplace where I'll likely forget or I'll eat a bag a day in place of a meal.

Proof?
And you're basing this conclusion jumping on, what? You win for the most ill-informed, knee-jerk, baseless response in this thread.
I always wonder why people decide to respond to the post below mine which says the same thing but with less proof...
Above I said the same thing with a specific example. It's not as fun to argue with someone who makes a good argument though, is it?

Those numbers are sweet but I would like to see a breakdown of each model. Also the market worldwide if im not mistaken is growing at what 10% a year yet Apples desk tops grew at 4%? If so why?
Is the 10% growth in the desktop market? I thought 10% was for the PC market as a whole. In which case Apple's overall growth is above that.

Which one is better?
Nothing else really.
I bought the same chair from the officechairstation.com for under $200. It should be here tomorrow. Also bought an iPad 32GB. Should be here next week. I think I'm good for my wishlist for now.
Edit: I stand corrected. Just played with the Magic Trackpad. Now I want one. Going to pick one up within a week or two.

Yeah, I don't get all the "OMG $250 on a jumper". Seriously, I assume you guys have never shopped in Burberry, Paul Smith, D&G etc...
That Panerai watch looks awesome.
:apple:
It's the fact that while well made, it's pretty much a waste of money because clothes are a consumable.
Unlike something like a nice watch that will last for years and years, a shirt loses it's form and fades a bit after 1-2 years, at which point it's pretty much junk.

Idk how the CPU would be considerably faster than a 2.13 GHz core2duo.
The only bright side to this upgrade is the fact that battery might last extra :30 -1:00 hour.
Does this mean we might see thunderbolt in the new MBA? (which i dont even care)
If the CPU processing is really that faster than the 2.13 I would like to know since I ordered an MBA yesterday :P
Clock speed isn't everything. The sandy bridge i5 should be considerably faster. With that said, buying a MBA to do intensive things with is questionable to begin with.

Really depends on yoru defintion of success. Popularity wise it's been successful (360 is helped solely by the fact it's the only HD player out there right now) but as far as the stock holders and business men are concerned it's been a debacle - they've lost hundreds of millions of dollars in the XBox and have still yet to see a single positve quarter, financially speaking, since it's inception.
News Flash. The 360 does NOT play any HD. They are working on an add on HD DVD, but it is not out. Therefore no HD. So the sole thing that the 360 is helped by doesn't exist.

Hmmm...I've never seen a power adapter on a plane, and I flew a few days ago (on a cheapo airline, but still...). Core 2 Duo isnt that much of an upgrade, its "only" 1.4X, which to some people would make a lot of difference but to me it doesnt. Whats that, like a second faster on most tasks? Not worth the wait. Also, whats the word on CPU buzz?

I've got a 2.5 yr old MacBook that is feeling stretched with Aperture. I've been thinking that an iMac / iPad combination would be a good replacement.
Anyone with experience in getting iPads to work with iMacs (specifically remote access)?
I have been thinking same, new iMac and the iPad 2.
